Roe's ready for battle

Spartans Beat South Carolina, 82-73

South Carolina held on playing tough, but MSU pulled it out.  This is not a final four team yet, but it is still early in the season (trying to stay optimistic).  State has NOT been playing with consistency this year.  They usually step it up as the season progresses, lets just hope it's not too late.  To bottom line the Carolina game, MSU committed 19 turnovers, allowed 21 offensive rebounds and missed 26 combined free throws.  To stay # 2, MSU will need to clean up its act and learn to slow down to prevent the unnecessary turnovers.  Final note:  for the love of god, please grab the fricken rebounds (GET INSIDE).  Sloppy play is killing us.  


On a positive note, Green and Roe had a pretty solid game overall.  It was nice to see some new recruits on the court as well.  MSUZONE
